Why am I receiving a bill from the lab?
You may have received an invoice from VantagePoint Laboratory Parnters, if:

  • Your physician submitted a request slip and lab work for test(s) to be performed and the slip was marked to indicate patient responsibility for testing.
  • If you are responsible for a deductible, co-payment, co-insurance or non-covered services. Please contact your insurance company for inquiries regarding your specific health plan.
  • If you have Medicare and signed an Advanced Beneficiary Notice (ABN) form.

If you believe you have received a bill in error, or need to inquire as to the reason you received the invoice, please contact the Billing Department at 888.429.4293. Please state that you have received an invoice from VantagePoint Lab and they will assist you.

What is a deductible?
This is the amount that is required by your insurance carrier to be paid by the subscriber before health plan benefits will begin to reimburse for services.

Can you bill my secondary insurance?
Yes. Please call the Billing Department at 888.429.4293 to assist you.

How can I pay my bill?
You may send your check or money order directly to the laboratory. Please write the invoice number on your check or include it with your payment.
You may also contact 888.429.4293 and speak to a Billing Representative to pay your invoice over the phone.

Have you received an Explanations Of Benefits Letter?

If your physician has chosen VantagePoint Laboratory Partners (VPL) as their lab service provider and you have insurance coverage, WPML will bill your insurance company and they will process the claim and send you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) explaining your responsibility.

Upon receipt of the EOB, if you have any questions, please call the affiliated Billing Department at 888.429.4293 between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:30PM to ensure you are receiving the full benefit of your insurance coverage.
